Abstract:

We read with interest the letter by Shoar et al1 regarding our recent publication on a new proposed risk score for evaluating the pretest probability of Lyme carditis (LC) in a patient presenting with high‐degree AV block.2 We thank the authors for a detailed analysis of our work; however, we would like to offer several rebuttals to their comments before engaging in further clarifications.
